Norco Inc. PURCHASING AGENT in Boise, Idaho

We are looking for a well-organized individual for our Purchasing Agent position to work at our Main Office located in Boise, ID. The ideal candidate will be a highly efficient, motivated individual who has strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Reviewing vendor qualification and selection

  • Negotiate prices, terms, rebates, freight, etc.

  • Control the necessary equipment, merchandise and services for a constant flow with a minimum inventory

  • Assist in the maintenance of accurate inventory counts through cycle counting

  • Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary.

Candidates must be self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. The ability to perform basic mathematics calculations, read reports, and accurately enter data into a computer is required. Applicants must be detail oriented and able to multi-task.
