Engility Regulatory Compliance Analyst Intern in Chantilly, Virginia

Intern position will assist in supporting government audits, financial analysis and contract close-out related duties.
Provide support to regulatory compliance team is supporting audit responses to the Government. This includes financial analysis, review of records, including documentation creation and tracking.
Assist in the contract close-out efforts including a reviews of contract documents and modifications, financial status records and preparing schedules of incurred costs. Intern will also development of support documents that would be subject to audit.
Develop working relationships with program personnel, and other departments and will coordinate with regulatory compliance staff in the day to day functions of the compliance team to ensure contract compliance and proper close-out efforts.
Must be currently enrolled in Bachelor’s degree in business or business-related fields such as management, finance, or accounting with a cumulative GPA 3.0 or above. Must have completed 1st year of school.
Establish and maintain excellent internal and external customer relations at all levels of the organization.
Strong analytical, writing, financial, and negotiation skills.
Strong communication skills to include effective written, listening and interpersonal skills, approachability, and ability to build and maintain internal/external relationships.
Effectively meet responsibilities in a highly interactive team environment and able to work well under pressure, multi-task, and deliver on multiple priorities while producing work of the highest caliber.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office
0 - 2+ years’ experience in finance or accounting related positions.
Previous business internship or business work experience is highly desirable.
Knowledge of applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) requirements.
