Intern- Interior Design

Full-time - 5 days per week over the summer

This is a great opportunity to get project experience assisting on design projects, refurbishments and renovations for Vi senior living retirement communities. You will have the opportunity to research and analyze the appropriateness of products (furniture, finishes, hardware, art and accessories) and participate in the selection and preparation of specifications. Requires maintenance and organization of working samples and database of various finishes and selections as well as organize and source/return material samples (paint chips, fabrics, etc.)

Job Requirement

Qualified applicants are required to be a current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Interior

Design. You must possess an understanding of color basics, industry trends, new products, design

process, including FF&E, color & materials and have the ability to read and understand architectural and interior design construction documents. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
