Asset classes transacted include Equities, FX, Futures and Options.

Responsibilities will include working directly with Traders, Brokers, Portfolio Managers, Investment Operations and settlement personal to research and amend trade discrepancies and assist traders in the maintenance of data related to the execution of orders.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

n

n

+ Monitoring of financial markets to aid Traders in evaluating and developing implementation strategies as well as to maintain knowledge of upcoming market events.

n

+ Maintains daily contact with Portfolio Managers, Traders, and back office personal to ensure the smooth operation of trade flows

n

+ Confirm trade flow process is completed daily with the goal of 100% matching on trade date

n

+ Maintains knowledge of Equity, Futures and FX trading and settlement processes •

n

+ Sets up securities in trading systems, fix errors, fails and kicked out trades, set up new accounts

n

+ Updates the trading system for changes in security identifiers

n

+ Corrects errors, execute cancel re-bills, investigate and work through claims from trading partners

n

+ Work as part of a global team with members based in London, Chicago, Hong Kong

n

+ Carries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact

n

+ May have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management

n

+ Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees

n

+ May manage daily operational activities and supervise day-to-day work of junior level employees (but not a formal management role)

n

+ More technically sound in area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other areas

n

+ Delivers a work product that requires less revision

n

+ Able to facilitate discussions and reach decisions

The successful candidate will benefit from having:

n

+ A College or University degree and/or relevant proven Investment Operations work experience is required

n

+ 3-5 years' Experience

n

+ CFA/MBA or working towards CFA/MBA is preferred Knowledge of investments, including terminology, instruments and general industry practices is required

n

+ Strong analytical and communication skills are required to research and resolve queries and issues

n

+ Ability to work independently in a time sensitive environment Ability to work in a team environment

+ Strong Excel skills
