Responsible for applications development in an enterprise architecture environment within .net framework using C#. Must be able to apply SDLC concepts and have a proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications. Must have a good understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts, have experience working on distributed platforms (Windows preferred or UNIX) and have experience in a .net framework enterprise architecture environment. Knowledge of Rational Unified Process methodology, Agile or other iterative development methodologies is a plus. Must have strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills, and the ability to independently work as a contributing member in a high-paced and focused team.

  • 3-5 years of recent web services development experience; full stack application development experience a plus

  • Bachelor's degree from 4-year accredited degree granting college or university is preferred, or equivalent experience;

  • Proven experience developing and implementing web services/micro services using C#, ASP.NET Web API

  • Experience with multi threads/async programming;

  • Broad technical skills, with a practical knowledge of OOP concepts and distributed environments: .net, XML, XSLT, web services (REST), JSON, Relational SQL,

  • .NETCore preferred but not required;

  • Experience with PCF preferred but not required;

  • Have programming experiences with databases, MongoDB preferred;

  • Experience with working with message queue, RabbitMQ preferred;

  • Adhering with SOLID principles;

  • Experience with unit testing and unit testing frameworks (Moq, etc);

  • Solid understanding of web application environments and development tools, event-driven application development, session state management, web configuration and deployment strategies, security and performance tuning, and debugging methodologies;

  • Working knowledge of agile methodologies and ceremonies, iterative development processes and collaboration Tools (JIRA, Confluence) is essential

  • Experience with CI /CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Zephyr, TFS, Bit Bucket, Shell Scripting/PowerShell, Splunk

  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills;

  • Effective time management: must be able to prioritize and multi-task effectively

  • Have a passion for problem solving, the ability to quickly learn new concepts, and must be able to interact with all levels of technical and business teams;

  • Proven ability to work independently or as an integral member of a multi-site team

  • Experience with financial services or brokerage industry is a plus
