As an Accounting Clerk with Verscene, you'll be part of a small, dedicated team where you'll accurately process accounting data and transactions pertaining to our various businesses and operations. This full-time position reports directly to the Accounting Manager and is located in Golden Valley, MN. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL: Prepare and process accounting-related documents (e.g., cash receipts, invoices, payments, credits). Review and post transactions according to policies and compliance requirements. Reconcile accounts, and participate in the month end close. Identify and resolve vendor invoice discrepancies and prepare purchase orders. Apply cash receipts, research short pays and perform collection calls Set-up new customers, review credit applications, and perform various sales invoicing functions. To qualify, you will bring: Degree or Certificate in accounting preferred, but not required. At minimum of 5 years working experience in accounting and/or administrative assistant functions. Working knowledge and confidence in navigating technology (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, accounting software, JDEdwards experience preferred). Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
