Wells Fargo Institutional Retirement & Trust (IRT) has a position in Institutional Asset Advisors that will act as support for our investment products utilized by the IAA Portfolio Strategists to support clients. Wells Fargo Institutional Retirement & Trust is a national leader in providing total retirement management, investment management, and trust and custody solutions tailored to meet the needs of institutional clients. The Institutional Asset Advisor team has more than $19 billion in assets under management and approximately 1,000 clients, offering discretionary asset management with standard and customized investment solutions for defined benefits plans, foundations, endowments, tribal nations and operating assets.

This position will report to the Director of Centralized Investment Support in Institutional Asset Advisors and is responsible for the support of our investment management products, product managers and central investment support team. They are responsible for the simple to moderately complex investment products and services utilized within our Investment Management accounts. This position will contribute to the development of new investment products, resolve product related problems, work with product managers and the central team to implement product related changes launches and enhancements. Independently completes basic and moderately complex investment projects and analysis. Responsible for participating in product working groups and investment committees to understand impacts to the central team and provide ongoing support as a subject matter expert of the investment products. Position may manage vendor relationships. Knowledge is needed of investments, asset allocation process, products, risk management and compliance. Position will also be extremely involved and play a role in broader unit projects that could include fund and asset model modifications, and compliance related efforts.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of investment product industry experience

  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment

  • A BA/BS degree or higher in business or finance
