US Cold Storage CIT Analyst in Minooka, Illinois
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: Support WMS & Taskmaster Labor Management System by rolling out system to new and existing locations, assist development, implementation and testing of program enhancements, ensure consistency of use/implementation, perform operational assessments at various locations in their region during the year, assist in developing training documentation and help create useful reporting tools from system data. Assist in testing, developing and implementing new USCS eWM Rollout. Perform analysis on the data to identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement. Manage continuous improvement projects at the sites, ensuring all tasks are being completed according to project plans. Be the liaison between Corporate IT/CIT and local MW sites.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties as assigned.
Phoenix WMS rollouts and ongoing support to existing facilities, newly constructed or acquired warehouses.
Consult and Recommend operation changes with management on labor and customer issues.
Develop, design, document, and Test Enterprise Warehouse Management (EWM) System.
Analyze Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to maximize efficiency and reduce labor cost.
Create programs for customers and test and modify customer profiles.
Write procedures for warehouse SOP’s.
Assist in developing and placing into production new Taskmaster/WMS programs & modules.
Perform assessments at various locations in their region or other regions throughout the year.
Follow up and training on assessment recommendations and perform reassessments.
Assist in preparing training and user documentation for Taskmaster/WMS system including manuals and videos.
Provide phone and email support for Regional Taskmaster/WMS questions as needed.
Review and log all Regional Taskmaster/WMS enhancement requests.
Organize and facilitate monthly regional TUG conference calls.
Assist in development of other operational software.
Train managers, supervisors, customer service and warehouse on the functions and use on WMS.
Train warehouse employees on the use and operation of all forklift equipment.
Maintain a professional manner in appearance and communications at all times.
Participate in staff and/or customer meetings if required.
Develop PC/tablet skills to perform any e-mailing, reports, label preparation, order release, driver sign-out, inventory checks and/or any type of PC/tablet function necessary for that specific area.
Safety, Housekeeping, Security
Safety glasses, seat belts, and ID badges must be worn if on forklifts.
Follow posted security procedures at all times while in the building.
Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work/lunch room area.
Required to attend Ammonia Training Class yearly.
Responsibility and Authority
Identify and record any issues relating to product, processes and/or quality.
Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through appropriate channels.
Verify the implementation of solutions.
Maximize the utilization of all USCS warehouse support computer system applications and tools, including RF equipment, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
MANDATORY JOB REQUIREMENTS

Capable of operating forklifts and their attachments.
Must be able to obtain the trainer certification.
Have good arithmetic skills.
Be able to read and have written communication.
Capable of following verbal and written instructions.
Available to work various shifts.
Capable of standing and walking extended periods of time.
Pass written and driving forklift exam.
Understand and follow company policy as stated in the employee handbook.
Ability to manage and supervise as needed.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
Experience: 1 year experience with WMS & Warehouse Labor Management Systems, 3 years warehouse operational experienc
Travel: Travel up to 75%
Specialized Knowledge: RF, AS400, MS Office, warehouse layout, inventory control
Special Skills: Detail and customer service oriented. Organization, effective written and oral communication, ability to analyze and solve problems, excellent mathematical skills. Excellent computer skills.
Other: Aility to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
