About the Role

This position is responsible for the direct service to our customer in picking up waste and delivering supplies. As a front line company representative of the company we are currently recruiting safe, courteous drivers with excellent customer service and communication skills Delivery and pickup of waste containers.

  • Pickups in the GTA and travel throughout Ontario as dispatched.

  • Assistance with loading and unloading of trucks, as required

  • Transportation of Biomedical waste

  • Completion of Provincial Manifests and internal documentation, as required

  • Completion of log books and understanding of hours of service regulations

  • Completion of required reports and strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures

  • Some lifting may be required and as necessary up to 70 lbs.

  • Performs Pre and Post Trip Inspections

  • Use of handheld scanning device

  • Manager can add other related duties as required.

Position Requirements

Position Requirements

  • Completion of highschool or GED equivalent

  • Minimum 2 years D-Z or A-Z driver experience and license

  • Good driving record with a maximum of three demerit points

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Willing to operate straight truck and/or tractor trailer as scheduled

  • Experience in T.D.G.

  • Experience using handheld scanners

  • Able to drive for long periods of time.

  • Able to operate a truck in a safe manner.

  • Able to lift maximum of 70 lbs.

  • May require overnights in remote locations.

  • May require shift work.
