Our Opportunity:

Sales & Service Enablement (S&SE) plays a critical role supporting initiatives from strategy development to ongoing business operations. We provide support for the Investor Services (IS) field channels through people, process and technology improvements. A key function within the S&SE organization is the Special Projects Team. The Special Projects Team is a new and growing function responsible for strategically aligning S&SE with IS and IS Field priorities through project and change management work. The Senior Manager will report to the Director of the Special Projects Team.

The key areas of focus for the Senior Manager of the Special Projects Team within S&SE are:

Organizational Development

Helping to evolve the S&SE function to better meet the needs of the field and other key partners, and enabling S&SE employees to serve in our evolved capacity.

Enterprise Support

Owning and evolving processes and functions, as well as leading high priority initiatives, in support of all of IS.

Field Leadership & Field Organization Support

Leading and supporting key initiatives, and owning deliverables that align to the priorities of the field organizations and their leadership teams.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and cultivate relationships with field leaders and key business partners to understand their needs; articulate S&SE’s unique value proposition in alignment with those needs

  • Proactively identify business opportunities and provide solutions to evolve S&SE’s support of all IS field organizations

  • Develop and execute on programs to build the knowledge, skills and ability of S&SE’s employees in alignment with the team’s evolving functions, enhancing efficiency and productivity where relevant

  • Proactively and enthusiastically represent the needs and perspectives of the IS field organizations and S&SE; communicate with leaders to provide updates and support for their organizations.

  • Collaborate with partners across the firm to create awareness and develop strategic approaches and frameworks that address problems and pain points for IS; envision success and create a set of aligning objectives and measurements for initiatives

  • Create and execute end-to-end change & implementation plans for certain strategic initiatives; serve as a thought leader for other initiatives

  • Use a disciplined approach to projects, include appropriate stakeholders, and strongly leverage partnerships to drive progress and achieve results

  • Quarterback key, cross-functional initiatives, bringing together people, process and technology to drive outcomes and influence change

  • Engage in key initiatives that require additional support

What you have:

  • Prior experience in financial services or within field/client-facing organizations preferred

  • Outstanding “soft” skills - including the ability to work well with a diverse range of partners

  • Curiosity, positivity, and ability to learn quickly, adapt and thrive in a complex, dynamic environment

  • Skilled in operating at both strategic and tactical levels

  • Strong analytical skills; creative and resourceful problem-solving skills

  • Ability to influence decisions and outcomes across varying levels of the organization

  • A balance of patience and drive to deliver on multiple priorities concurrently; some efforts with abbreviated timelines

  • Sound judgment and ability to identify and manage trade-offs

  • Expert knowledge with Microsoft Office products, specifically PowerPoint and Excel; ability to tell a story using PowerPoint

  • Project management capabilities and working knowledge of change management principles
